Attorney Eileen I. Elliott
Eileen I. Elliott covers the rapidly-expanding field of health care law, which includes regulatory compliance, litigation, corporate and commercial issues, organizational governance and governmental relations. Eileen was extensively involved in health care legal issues during her tenure with the State of Vermont, most recently serving as the Deputy Secretary of the Human Services Agency (2003-2005). Prior to that, she was Commissioner of Vermont ’s Social Welfare Department (1999-2003). From 1993 until 1999, she worked for the Office of the Attorney General, including her position as Chief of the Human Services Division, and as an assistant attorney general serving the Agriculture Department. Before that, she handled a diverse group of clients for a commercial litigation firm in Connecticut. Eileen is admitted to practice in Vermont, Connecticut and Colorado. She graduated with distinction from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in Environmental Conservation (1978), and she has a J.D. from the University of Denver (1981).

Here, I have the latitude and professional support to build a practice that combines my interest in the legal and public policy issues of human services and health care with my experience in general commercial law and litigation.
